Gut Girls

By Sarah Daniels
Directed by Teddy Kiendl

Set in London at the beginning of the 20th Century, The Gut Girls, features a collection of foul mouthed and rowdy slaughterhouse women living in the shadows of ostracism and impending redundancy. When the genteel Lady Helena arrives to 'save' the women by bringing religion, good manners and more suitable employment into their lives, she gets much more than was initially bargained for.

'Humane and hugely funny.' - The Financial Times
