MMU courses in UK Top 20

Good University Guide

INFORMATION Management and Librarianship courses at MMU are rated 7th in the UK, according to The Good University Guide.

Programmes in Architecture are rated 10th.

Also in the Top 20 in the tables, published in The Independent, are:

- Materials Technology/Science - 12th.
- Food science - 15th.
- Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism - 18th.
- Town and Country Planning and Landscape - 20th.

Town and Country Planning is covered at MMU by courses in the Department of Environmental and Geographical Sciences (Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development and Urban Studies) and at The Business School (Retail Management, Place Management).

Courses in Architecture are run by the Manchester School of Architecture, a joint school between MMU and The University of Manchester. Courses in Landscape Architecture are run by the Faculty of Art and Design.
